Lukas' Lexicon (2015)

Lukas’ Lexicon is a short study in chordal motion for the intermediate marimbist. Inspired by my cat Lukas’ wildly contrasting moods (whom I adopted during my time in Lexington), this work challenges the performer to quickly switch between a wide variety of styles and techniques throughout its three main sections.
