Dakel Energy is a work for percussion quartet written for and dedicated to my good friends of Dakel Percusión (Chile). I had the pleasure of meeting these fantastic musicians at a festival in 2018, which eventually led to the start of a wonderful friendship and numerous collaborations. Dakel Energy sets to evoke the fiery musical spirit and flow of Dakel.
